Traditional Drawing:
For children who love to draw, but are eager to improve their skills, this class is for them. Using the old masters as guides, students will learn the fundamental principles of drawing including shading, light values, line pressure, measuring, hand control, grid transfers, and composition. In short, children will attain a rock solid artistic foundation; one that will support their creative explorations for years to come.
Advanced Traditional Drawing:
Once students have completed the Session 1 Introduction Course, they can continue their training in the Session 2 Advanced Course. This continuous four week session allows students more freedom in what they would like to draw (animals, portraits, etc), while also building upon various old master techniques such as grid transfers, mid tone paper, and composition.
