ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Take a break from the world of super-competitive kids’ sports and join us for a free, fun, low-key program that helps kids get their exercise, have fun, and get excited about running.
Practice starts with a dynamic and interactive warm-up led by the coaches. Following that, everyone is encouraged to run/walk/skip as many laps around the track as they want. We end the practice with a quick group cool-down. 
Kids get one bracelet each time they complete a lap to help keep track of how far they’ve run. We’ll provide optional tracking sheets for each kid to record their total laps. (At the end of the night, they return the bracelets so we can do it all again the following week.)
We end the season with a fun and free 5k in Cambridge and a pizza party the following week.
Please note: the program is not drop-off. We have SRR coaches at the track who are excited to run with your kids, but we still need an adult on site for safety. Parents/guardians are welcome (but not required) to participate with their kids.

End-of-Season 5k run/race
Day/Time: Saturday, May 18, 2024 9:00am
Location: Danehy Park parkrun 166 New St, Cambridge, MA (parking available)
Prior registration is required and free. Please see the information at the link above; we will also send this link and information out a week before the parkrun.
