A  Day Program for Kids by Somerville Parks and Recreation and SomerPromise

Welcome to Summer Spot, an engaging and enriching all-day program designed to make your child's summer unforgettable! Presented by Somerville Parks and Recreation in collaboration with SomerPromise, Summer Spot offers a five-week adventure packed with excitement, exploration, and endless opportunities for fun and learning.

Key Features:
  1. Full-Day Experience: Our program runs from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, providing a safe and stimulating environment for children throughout the day.
  2. Nutritious Meals: Participants will receive both breakfast and lunch, ensuring they stay energized and nourished for all the activities ahead.
  3. Variety of Partnerships: Every day brings new adventures as kids collaborate with various partners specializing in sports, arts, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics), and more. From honing athletic skills to unleashing creative talents, there's something for every interest!
  4. Recreational Games and Activities: In addition to structured sessions with partners, children will have plenty of time for recreational games and activities. Whether it's outdoor sports, board games, or team challenges, there's never a dull moment at Summer Spot.
  5. Arts and Crafts: Unleash creativity and imagination through arts and crafts sessions. Children can explore their artistic side and create masterpieces to cherish.
  6. Supervised Environment: Our experienced staff ensures a safe and supportive environment where children can thrive, learn, and make lasting friendships.

Children will be provided with a T-Shirt upon acceptance into the program and are required to wear their T-shirt on a daily basis. Three T-Shirts will be given to your child. FOR GROUP SAFETY REASONS T-SHIRTS MUST BE WORN.
