iCan Bike 2
Interested in learning how to ride a bike? Join our iCan Bike program designed for people with disabilities ages 8+! Hosted by Somerville Parks and Recreation and iCan Shine, we understand that the vast majority of people with disabilities never experience the thrill of independently riding a conventional two-wheel bicycle, but we can help you become a lifelong independent rider!

PLEASE READ:
  • From Monday - Thursday, we will be using training bikes. On Friday, we will use our forever bikes! All training bikes will be provided upon arrival.
  • On Monday and Tuesday, we will be located at Founders Memorial Rink (8 Garden Ct. Somerville, MA 02143). From Wednesday - Friday, we will be located at Dilboy Stadium (110 Alewife Brooke Pkwy, Somerville, MA 02144).
  • There will be 5, 75 minute sessions with a maximum of 5 participants per sessions.
  • We have scholarships available for non-resident participants! Reach out to us at jvallesio@somervillema.gov or gscarpelli@somervillema.gov.
