Somerville Parks & Recreation Teen Programs are excited to offer our 3rd Annual FREE field trip for teens in grades 7–12 to go snow tubing at McIntyre Ski Area, located at 50 Chalet Way in Manchester, NH. Registering for this trip serves as parent or guardian permission for your teen to attend and to travel with Somerville Recreation staff.
Trip Details Date: Friday, January 30 Time: 3:00–9:00 PM
Schedule details:
Bus Pickup: 3:00–3:15 PM at the Edgerly School (3 Otis St, Somerville, MA 02145)
Snow Tubing: 6:00–8:00 PM
Bus Drop-Off: around 9:00 PM at the Edgerly School
Registration & Participation Open to Somerville teens in grades 7–12
An adult must complete registration; teens may not register themselves
Registration acts as a permission slip for your teen to attend the trip and to travel with Somerville Recreation staff
Space is limited to 25 teens
Please only register if your teen can attend for the full duration of the trip. Teens who register, and do not show up without notice to Parks and Recreation staff, may be ineligible to register for the next Teen Trip
What’s Included Round-trip transportation
Free access to a two-hour snow tubing session
Pizza and party room while tubing
What to Wear Teens must arrive dressed appropriately for winter weather, including snow boots, snow pants or waterproof pants, a winter jacket, gloves, and a hat. For safety reasons, teens who are not properly dressed for cold conditions may not be able to get on the bus to participate.
