Teen Field Trip: WNBA Game at TD Garden LA Sparks vs Connecticut Sun
Somerville Parks & Recreation Teen Programs is excited to offer a FREE field trip for teens in grades 7–12 to attend the final WNBA game at TD Garden, featuring the Connecticut Sun vs. Los Angeles Sparks. Rising 7th graders are also welcome to register. If you experience any registration issues, please contact Brooke Metivier at bmetivier@somervillema.gov.
Transportation will be provided by the Somerville Police Department, and game tickets are free for all selected participants. Space is limited, and registration does not guarantee a spot. Teens must be selected from the waitlist in order to attend.
As part of the registration process, teens will be asked to share why they would like to attend the game. We hope to select a group of participants who are excited about this unique opportunity to experience professional women's basketball.
Attendance Policy: Due to the limited number of spots available, if your teen is registered for the field trip and does not attend without providing at least 48 hours' notice, they will be ineligible to participate in the next two Teen Program field trips offered by Somerville Parks & Recreation.
Transportation Details
- Pickup Location: East Somerville Community School, 50 Cross Street, Somerville, MA 02145
- Bus Arrival Time: 4:00 PM
- Bus Departure: No later than at 4:30 PM
- Game Location: TD Garden
- Estimated Return Time: Between 10:00 PM and 11:00 PM
- Drop-Off Location: East Somerville Community School
Please note that the bus will depart no later than 6:00 PM, so participants should arrive by 5:45 PM to check in.
