Tot-Time Preschool Program 2025 - Tot-Time Spring 2026
This program runs Monday-Thursday and prepares children for Pre-k and Kindergarten. Guided activities are planned daily to include arts and crafts, music, working with letters, numbers and so much more. Tot-Time is a social based program not a curriculum based program. All participants must be potty trained to attend. This program runs September-June and is broken into four sessions.

This program runs Monday-Thursday and prepares children for Pre-k and Kindergarten. Guided activities are planned daily to include arts and crafts, music, working with letters, numbers and so much more. Tot-Time is a social based program not a curriculum based program. All participants must be potty trained to attend. This program runs September-June and is broken into four sessions.

Lifeguard Certification Class - Lifeguard Certification Course June 2026
Want to become Lifeguard Certified!? The city of Somerville is offering the opportunity for Somerville residents to get certified at the Ginny Smithers Pool. This is a 3 day class that attendees must attend all 3 days and complete online work prior to the course starting. Prior to the start date:
20 hours of online course material completed before the first day of in-person learning.
Start of Class:
Must be at least 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session.
Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence.
Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds

Lifeguard Certification Class - Lifeguard Certification Course June 2026
Want to become Lifeguard Certified!? The city of Somerville is offering the opportunity for Somerville residents to get certified at the Ginny Smithers Pool. This is a 3 day class that attendees must attend all 3 days and complete online work prior to the course starting. Prior to the start date:
20 hours of online course material completed before the first day of in-person learning.
Start of Class:
Must be at least 15 years old on or before the final scheduled session.
Complete a swim-tread-swim sequence.
Complete a timed event within 1 minute, 40 seconds
Schedule:Tuesday June 23rd- 8am-3pmWednesday June 24th- 8am-3pmThursday June 25th- 8am-3:30pmThings to know:Attendees will be in the water and out of the water so please bring a change of clothes and a towelThere will be a lunch break/ regular breaks so please plan accordingly.
